picture of ShipA quirky pub with a not surprising, idiosyncratic, largely seafaring theme, this is a lively place during the week. A popular afterwork haunt for people in the area, the beer is pretty decent - with real ales on the on the hand pumps - and the service friendly and attentive, but it's another one of those places that seems only to be open at certain, undefinable hours and never at weekends. If it is open as you happen by, do drop in, you will not be disappointed.
