how to find it:

From Aldgate East, exit onto Commercial Street, and take the forth turning on the right (Fournier Street) which leads you onto Brick Lane where you turn left. Exit is a few minutes walk on the right. From Liverpool Street exit onto Bishopsgate, cross and take Brushfield Street on the right. At the end carry on over to Fournier Street from where you can follow the instructions above.

picture of ExitBrick Lane deserves better than this. Despite being well known as a good street for bars, there are not as many good places as one might think. Exit, sadly, doesn't help redress the balance. Thin and narrow, there's a distinct lack of seating, a few overpriced bottles of beer on offer and a clientele who often appear to think they own the place. Its fine as part of a Shoreditch pub crawl but after a quick drink, do yourself a favour and take the advice helpfully included in the bar's name.
