Continue up Grove Road past the railway bridge and another set of traffic lights (it's about a 10 minute walk). Past the lights and the Bow Wharf development is on the left. From Bethnal Green, take the Roman Road exit. Go along Roman Road until you get to a bridge over a canal. When you get there, you'll see a set of traffic lights ahead. picture of Fat CatIf you're in the area, the Fat Cat is still the venue of choice if you're looking for a bite to eat and a pint or two. Its nearest neighbours are either too expensive (and often crowded) or simply just too lairy. Located in one of the two original industrial buildings left in Bow Wharf, the Fat Cat serves a decent range of drink, including a couple of decent beers on the hand pumps, and an unpretentious and reasonably priced menu (big portions too). The service is good, recently redecorated the décor is in tune with its surroundings - cosy and not at all industrial and the atmosphere relaxed. Great for breakfasts on a summer's weekend.
