how to find it:

From the station turn left and look for the nearest large building. Its the old ticket office, so its fairly easy to spot.

picture of Station House (ex Churchfield)From the outside you'd think it would be quite grand in here. Once the ticket office for pretty Acton Central train, its now a rather lacklustre bar and dining room. Its also smaller inside than it you might imagine. Refurbished in a fairly predicable modern bar style, it does boast the advantage of a large outside terrace and a separate upstairs dining area. The beer choice is adequate, with a couple of Belgium beers to keep fans of such things happy, but our Saturday evening visit was dominated by large screen football, courtesy of a Middle Eastern TV company, complete with dodgy volume control. Not a bad place by any means, there are however better in the area.
