The Cross Keys quaint, popular (especially with the media crowd hereabouts) little pub, on the periphery of Covent Garden, that does a good job of being a welcoming hostelry. Unlike many places in the area, it's pretty much unchanged over the years, you get a couple of beers on the hand pumps - Harveys being one of the guests on our last visit - and and a pretty standard range of supporting beers on tap. The food is pretty standard and the atmosphere and service are very good. Perhaps it's a little too popular nowadays for our liking - it's almost always crowded, especially in the evenings towards the end of the week, which tends to take some of the charm away, but it's certainly not a bad place to pass a Saturday afternoon. Oh, and the collection of knickknacks and memorabilia on the walls and ceiling should be of particular interest to Beatles fans.
