how to find it:

Turn left out of Farringdon tube, then next left and walk up Turnmill Street, cross Clerkenwell Road and carry on a little further up Farringdon lane, the pub is on your right about halfway up.

picture of City PrideA very pleasant Fuller's pub in the heart of Clerkenwell. It serves a good pint (Pride, Adnam's, ESB), decent honest pub food and the clientele are usually a jolly crowd. It also has the added advantage of being able to open up most of the front of the pub, which is nice in hot weather. It usually doesn't get too crowded, even when all around are packed to the gunwales and there' s a room upstairs to expand into if it does. Sport's a bit deal here, with TVs scattered all over the place showing Sky sports and Setanta, and it definitely gets the punters in for the games. In addition to the usual range of Fuller's fine beers, it also serves decent guest beers too. If you're in these parts looking for a proper pub, you won't go wrong coming here.
