The Ox, Manchester
FancyaPint?'s review...
An attractive looking pub and hotel with a welcoming wood and red leather interior. This pub is proud of its 2006 'best gastro pub' award, and such accolades clearly don't come cheap. Don't expect a pint for less than £3, and the food is pricey as well. It was also very quiet for Wednesday midday. Nevertheless, we spent an enjoyable hour there, sampling some of the four real ales and enjoying the banter with the friendly bar staff. However, with the superior Cask Bar and Knott Bar close by we won't be stopping in here too often.
