Zerodegrees, Blackheath
FancyaPint?'s review...
Zerodegrees is managing to maintain the balance between pub and pizza restaurant very successfully. The restaurant part is usually pretty full and weekends see the bar areas crowded with locals. Footy (and other sporting events) pack them in in the afternoon and the evening brings the bright young (and not so young) things of Blackheath out in force. Drinks-wise, the own-brewed beers, still are (in our opinion) not particularly remarkable (but there's plenty of other stuff to choose from), however the food - especially the pizzas and moules - is great and represents decent value for money. If you can find the right spot (we like the comfy sofas) and you're in the right mood it's a pretty good place for a fine evening out. Rare for the suburbs.
