The White Hart is a pleasant enough pub on Bishopsgate. The pub is apparently built on the site of a medieval priory and was originally a coaching inn, although the current building dates from around 1829. Being a Nicholson's pub, the beer's kept to a certain standard, and the selection is pretty good. There's a downstairs restaurant for the peckish, although food is available in the pub as well. And of course, being right next to Liverpool Street Station, it tends to get busy at commuting times, filling up with local office types getting one in before they catch that train.
