Walnut Tree, Leytonstone
FancyaPint?'s review...
This one hasn't changed in yonks. It's still the usual Wetherspoon affair, but it is keeping itself going somehow. The clientele hasn't really changed, but the beer's still good. It suffers from usual problems in the evening, particularly on weekends when it gets really busy, but it's not so bad during the week, and is reasonably quiet in the afternoons. There's a large beer garden fronting the busy road - now sporting a thin reed screen to hide traffic from the punters (or is it the other way around?) - so if you don't mind hydrocarbons with your beer, this is probably the place for you.
