A lively pub in trendy designer land. Despite the garish signage, this pub is a pretty solid, traditional local. It serves a good range of beers and wines, offers good service and has a lively clientele. Not being the biggest of places, it's only real drawback is its popularity on Thursday and Friday nights, when the crowds spill out onto the street in preparation for their weekend nights out. Earlier on in the week its quieter and easier to get served. This is definitely one of the better pubs in the area.

This is a fantastic traditional boozer with good, friendly service and a variety of well kept real ales. I haven't tried the food but that looks good too. My only concern is that I have heard it is threatened with closure, so if you haven't been there, get in quick before it's too late.
