A shabby and rather melancholy dive, it's remarkable that this one's still standing given the verging-on-derelict state of the exterior. Sure, it fulfils a need for its band of regular drinkers but it's unlikely you'll want to cross the threshold if you're not one of them.

I find the first review slightly unfair. The staff are very friendly and you often find a number of singles who go down to watch the football........... But, yes, otherwise it's inhabited by local down and outs and an entertaining gay oldie!
