This is a Walthamstow Village version of an old guys pub, i.e. 21st century traditional - sort of a cross between a gastro and traditional pub. It's clean, light and airy, which is hardly a surprise as it has to compete with the Nags Head and others in the village. The standards are high and Pride we had was well-kept. Pleasant enough experience although lack of food might not make it the destination pub others nearby are.

A cracking little pub in the heart of Walthamstow Village. Not as pretentious as some others in the area, good entertainment and a warm welcome are always received. Could do with putting on some food but there is a lot of competition in this part of E17 already so maybe that's the reason why they don't.
