A dyed in the wool sports pub - the wide array of screens proving the point - this one can get pretty packed if a big match is on. Having had a refurb not too long ago, the pub looks up to date, and the array of drink will suit most, with Speckled Hen and Greene King's IPA on draft for the real ale drinkers. There are nights when sport is not the main purpose: they have live music from their 'resident musician' and other nights when they show movies on the big screen. The food looks promising and the promise of hog roasts always goes down well in our books. Nevertheless, we still stick by our original assessment, though, and say if you're in the area and looking to watch some sport, you could do a lot worse than this.
