Attractive Fuller's pub this, with wood-panelling, frosted-glass, attractive bar and a fireplace to complete the cosy interior. Despite being stones-throw from the A4 flyover, it boasts an award winning beer garden Percy Thrower would have approved of. Popular with The Bees supporters (Brentford's humble football club) they also show footy on the Sky sports TV. The sporting theme continues with a pool table. They had the usual range of fullers beers, well kept. Seems popular for food (good value and lots of choice), we'll try the Polish dishes next time we're there. Known to host live music, the jukebox has a distinct 60's flavour. Quiz nights Wednesdays, they also have cribbage and scrabble should you feel the need for stimulus at other times. Newspapers provided weekends, which we like, as well as Roget's and the OED (handy if you haven't written "stimulus" since school). Relaxed, vibrant local anyone would want.
