Massive pub practically on top of Catford Bridge station, just off the busy South Circular. Done up in the not too distant past, there's plenty of seating as well as standing room. Disappointing on a lot of fronts, no ales on the taps, TVs blaring everywhere, one barman and just a bit of a depressed air about the place when we were in last. Strangely, the door that opens onto the pavement is blocked off - we actually thought it was closed when we went past it the first time. While the Copperfield is the easiest place to meet up in Catford but, beyond that, it's pretty mediocre.
