The Albion, Bethnal Green
FancyaPint?'s review...
The Albion is a pretty decent boozer, full of local "characters" and a reliquary for footy fans - especially Baggies. Every available space is covered with football memorabilia for almost any club you care to mention, giving the pub a festive air any time of the year, but it is indeed West Brom that's the favoured club here. Unsurprisingly, there are plenty of TVs for the watching of the footy, but the talk isn't exclusively football - there's a lively buzz to the place and it's a pretty friendly place overall. There are a couple of decent beers on the hand pumps - Landlord and Speckled Hen - the service is prompt and friendly and there's pub grub too. It's a handy local we rather like.
