Red Lion, Mayfair
FancyaPint?'s review...
This corner of Mayfair is beginning to resemble derelict parts of East London, what with all the (apparently) stalled construction projects in the area, not to mention the defunct petrol station two doors down from this once handsome old pub. As far as we can tell, nothing has been done to the property yet, although the hoarding outside says they'll be done by August 2011 - and they have three years to execute the planning decision from pub-hating Westminster Council. We just can't work out how so many millions of pounds of property can just site empty. And just what the area needs, another house shaped like a pub.

How to find the Red Lion pub
This pub is the back streets between Park lane and Curzon street (not far from the Hilton). It's not really close to any of the tube stations and I usually get lost looking for it.
