Looks like there's been a bit of a refit here (well, lick of paint anyway), the result being a pub split into an old fashioned public bar on one side and a restaurant on the other. But the dining space is something a lot more traditional than you'll find in a modern gastropub - it feels the place you'd take your parents for lunch. As for the public bar, there's a customary pub atmosphere: dart board, good guest ales and bantering locals.
