If you're familiar with the O'Neill's chain then you won't find anything out of the ordinary here, but we have to admit that people's familiarity has diminished somewhat in recent times as more and more O'Neill's become conventional pubs. The ones that are left are becoming something of a novelty. Therefore, it's becoming increasingly likely you may not have encountered one before. To recap, you'll find a typical Irish theme pub of the 1990's - rows of Guinness taps behind a long wooden bar, wooden floors and furniture, ornate mirrors etc etc - you'll recognise it as soon as you walk in. And that's exactly what what you get here. Security on the doors nowadays means this O'Neill's is nowhere near as edgy as it used to be, which is a welcome improvement. If you're in the mood for a drop of the black stuff, this pub will indeed suffice, but we can't think of a truly compelling reason to visit here.
