An old stalwart, this pub has a widely ranging clientele varying from locals to office workers to trendies doing the Islington crawl thing. Generally congenial, but packs out when sport is on due to large telly in the back and screens dotted around the place. A convenient place to meet chez Islington, but gets packed on the weekends.

From Angel: once you've left the station, cross Upper Street at the first set of lights. Cross again and go past the banks on the corner. It's just a few yards down on the bend.
