Junction Room, Dalston
FancyaPint?'s review...
Junction Room is an attractive looking, long and thin bar which attracts the young Dalston crowd which love this kind of dark and fashionable late-night venue. The front section is more cosy, as it becomes a little soulless when it opens out towards the back. Service was friendly if somewhat slow and on our early Saturday night visit half the lagers were already off – which didn’t bode well for later in the evening. Still, the snack menu was decent enough to make up for it. It also hosts numerous events during the week, along the lines of cabaret, comedy and film nights. We’re wavering between a two and a three pint rating, but we’re going to err on the side of generosity.
