Of course it's a rip-off - ask the cab drivers who charge a tenner or more to shift tennis fans from the eponymous station to the actual place a couple of miles away where honoured Brits are ritually humiliated by streetwise catgut-clever kids. All traces of tennis memorabilia seems to have gone in a refurb not too long ago. But it's easy enough on the throat, the eye and the backside. A medium sized place - and surrounded by the competition - the simple pine tables and chairs and occasional leather(ette) sofas are comfortable enough. Now under the Greene King aegis, there's their usual offerings as well as four guest beers when we were last in (or the more cynical amongst us said perhaps they're new GK acquisitions, who can tell at a glance?). No longer the haunt of Antipodeans, it's pleasant enough, if a little on the stark side. Nice people. Ordinary bar.
