A prime site so near Leicester Square wouldn't be vacant for long, so now Bat & Ball has become Fudge, one of a mini-chain of shiny style bars. Expect cocktails for £7.50, shots and 'sophisticated' leopard print seating. "Good music, good people, good times", says the promo literature. We shall see...

Leicester Square: head into the square (on the north side) and you'll see it in a side street on your left, just before you actually get to the square. Piccadilly Circus: head into Leicester Square on the north side (by the Swiss Centre) and carry on across the square. You'll see the pub on your right, in a side street, just as you're leaving the square.
