Fishmongers Arms, Southgate
FancyaPint?'s review...
An average suburban local, this is the sort of place where the pumps could be reduced to John Smiths and Carlsberg and there wouldn't be much complaint from the punters. Big Screen TV, cheap pub food (stretching to roasts on a Sunday) and a pool table are the other notable features. Nothing spectacular, but then again not many of the pubs in the area are.

Spent a very enjoyable evening at this pub on sunday at the quiz night. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a very cheerful welsh guy called Pants who made us feel welcome at the quiz. We came third out of 8 teams so not bad! will definitely be back soon, it is nice to have found a proper pub round here instead of ones that are trying too hard to be swanky wine bars. Highly recommended.
