Dover Castle, Regent's Park
FancyaPint?'s review...
This is a fine old Sam Smith's pub tucked away in a mews, just a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of Marylebone Road and Portland Place. And, as it's a Sam Smith's pub, the well-kept beer is what you'd expect - excellent if you like Sam's, not so good if you don't. There's decent enough pub grub (filling a hole, rather than tickling the taste buds and there are no 21st century distractions such as piped music, TV or gaming machines - another Sam Smith's thing. The pub rarely gets crowded, although it picks up after work for a couple of hours. It is on the tourist map and, every so often, you'll find a few in here, but it's in such an obscure location, that only a few manage to find it. If you're a fan of Sam's produce, the Dover Castle is just the place to put your feet up and read a good book or ponder eternity. And it's open for Sunday lunch too.

How to find the Dover Castle pub
The pub is in a mews between Weymouth Street and New Cavendish Street at the Great Portland Street end of these roads. The mews has three exits, the pub is in the road that joins the two main roads. The map link shows this better.
