Recently (and arguably misleadingly) renamed from Bar Charliez, but otherwise substantially unchanged, C. T. Wine Bar is quite an interesting cross-cultural fertilisation, a Polish-Irish bar. In practice, this means that Poles come here to drink Guinness, if only because the range of bottled Polish beers don't come cheap. The European Union flag often flies above the venue, which at least means that you won't run into any old buffers from the UK Independence Party here. Inside, there are two main areas, one with long, soft seating, and the other with low, metal-rimmed tables. Decoration ranges from fashion portraits of a sort to line drawings of lions and Westminster Abbey. There's a Polish disco every Sunday, and a notice on the DJ booth prohibits lollipops and chewing gum. While there's nothing really wrong with this place, and it's not (quite) a generic boozer (let alone a generic wine bar), it lacks anything to make it worth a visit from afar, except perhaps the evenings of DiscoPolo. But if you're into Shazza or Big Cyc, come on down... (New photo to follow)

Neasden: turn left out of the station and head along Neasden Lane. When you reach a major intersection, circumnavigate the roundabout to reach the main shopping street opposite. The bar is near the junction with Tanfield Avenue.
