Brogan's is a prominent Irish bar just over the road from Fulham Broadway tube. Inside, it's multilevelled and has what almost feel like hidden passages between some of the areas. The good part is that this allows them to show football matches in one part of the pub without interfering with people in the other parts of the pub. That said, we're guessing when Chelsea are playing at nearby Stamford Bridge the place gets pretty packed. The black stuff is good, the food leans toward Irish, with mussels and stew amongst the choices. As it's Irish, there's no real ale on the taps, unless you count Caffreys (we don't normally). Although they haven't gone overboard on the knickknacks you would normally find in an Irish theme pub, there is still some undefinable quality that marks it out as an Irish bar as soon as you walk in. Never mind. As long as you avoid match days, this one's not bad. And its proximity to Fulham Broadway makes it a prime place to meet.
