The Elephant Inn, Faversham
FancyaPint?'s review...
This is a charming traditional pub serving excellent craft brewed beers mainly from the local Kent area, as well as some from further afield. - there's also a good selection of European beers and often a local cider can be found nestling on the bar too. No food is currently served in the pub but you're welcome to bring your own sandwiches. That said, barbecues do take place in the summer in the attractive garden. This is a very welcome oasis in Shepherd Neame dominated Faversham. Apparently, the pub won the Swale Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) 'Pub of the Year' award in 2007 - we think CAMRA members get a discount on the real ales too.
