Cambridge's smallest pub is arguably its best. Blessed with a characterful group of friendly regulars and a welcoming attitude to locals, students and visitors alike, the Radegund has become something of an institution. The bijou but perfectly formed interior is all wood and benches, with the bar at the far end just a few steps from the door. There you will find an enviable selection of cask ales in top condition, including a choice of brews from the local Milton Brewery and others from the likes of Oakham, Buntingford and Fuller's. Friday early evenings are celebrated with double gin and tonics as punters join the Vera Lynn Appreciation Society, seeing in the weekend to the accompaniment of the forces sweetheart. Many are its other quirks, but it's much more fun to go and experience the place than read about it. An exceptional pub in a city boasting some terrific ale houses. Not to be missed.
